Disney’s “Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2” is reportedly set to go before the cameras starting today, October 5th, but without Drew Barrymore and Piper Perabo from the first film. I’ve checked my sources and found out that Erin Cahill, will play Rachel and George Lopez is signed on for the project to reprise his role as Papi.

According to MovieHole who spoke with a casting agent, the hunt for someone to voice Chloe (Drew Barrymore) and Rachel (Piper Perabo) began in August. It looks like they have found their Rachel, but I am curious who they will cast as Chloe.

If you have seen the first “Beverly Hills Chihuahua”, then you know that at the end of the movie, Chloe and Papi get married and are joined by 5 little Chihuahuas. So, which new characters will be introduced in “Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2”?

"New characters in the sequel include Papi Jr, son of the original film’s hero, Papi (returning star George Lopez); Antonio and Alberto, two German Shepherds training to be police dogs; and a stuck-up standard-size poodle named Appoline”.
